One in a Million (1992) melodrama
Elena Meshcheryakova is a doctor at a veterinary clinic. She accidentally encounters a stranger in a crowd who makes a lasting impression on her. But how can she bring herself to simply approach him and introduce herself? One day, he comes to the clinic to get rid of his dog. Instead of euthanizing the unfortunate animal, Elena takes it in. Circumstances conspire to place the heroine at a clinic where her lover's friend works as the chief psychiatrist. It is he who helps her find happiness. -----------------------------
