Plitvice Lakes, Croatia
June 12, 2024 we visit the Plitvice Lakes National Park in Croatia, it’s a cool overcast and misty day, but a beautiful place to visit. This is a National Heritage site. (link below)
Over thousands of years the waters flowing over the limestone and chalk have deposited travertine barriers, creating natural dams which in turn have created a series of beautiful lakes, caves and waterfalls.
