A diet high in fruits, vegetables, nuts, whole grains and olive oil can help lower the risk of prediabetes.
At least 150 minutes of moderate activity or 75 minutes of vigorous aerobic activity per week help improve your glucose levels.
Losing 5 to 7% of your body weight can significantly reduce your risk of progressing to type 2 diabetes.
Stopping smoking can improve insulin resistance and therefore lower your blood sugar taking metformin may help reverse Prediabetes, prevent or slow down its progression to type 2 diabetes.
