The gun is 20 meters in length and can do its job in a big range of distance. The basis of this machine is arc welding. The strong arc is generated once the electric current is passed through. The stud is fixed in a stud gun and once electricity initiated the arc, the heat is generated at the primary surface and shear stud surface. This heat may lead to melting of the surfaces. The molten surfaces on cooling lead on to fixing of the stud.
