Should you use self hosted applications?
Self-hosting can be the best option for privacy. When you decide to self-host you will have some added work in terms of security, uptime, and east of use. It can be a great learning experience if you're up for it, and in the long term, is a great option. You need to be willing to learn and understand some of the pros and cons of it.
