In this episode, we visit Dali Koumbe, a village located on the border between Mauritania and Mali, a journey that takes days by road from the capital. What sets this village apart is that its inhabitants are blind. The exact reason why these people, who have suffered from blindness for seven generations, were born blind is still unknown. Due to the frequent terrorist incidents between Mali and Mauritania, and the fact that it is 70km away from the nearest settlement and has no roads, reaching this village and connecting its inhabitants with the modern world is very difficult.
