Downingtown Then & Now
The old image was probably taken around 1915 and shows the old West Ward School on West Lancaster Avenue in Downingtown. The school was built in 1909 and torn down in 1958. Messiah Lutheran Church Downingtown, Pa now occupies the spot. The old Lutheran Church can be seen on the east side of West Ward in the old image.
