Evolution of Communication: Technology has advanced from traditional social media to the integration of augmented, virtual, and holographic reality, although these are still in their early stages.
Future of Technology: A future is envisioned where technology allows for the identification of people and objects in real time, which can be useful, but also invasive.
Need for Moral Principles: We must not be carried away by novelty, custom, enthusiasm, or fear. Authentic moral behavior is based on virtue.
Virtue: Virtue is correct behavior rooted in the person. It is not an isolated act, but a constant and reliable characteristic.
Human Virtues: These are qualities appreciated by the majority of humanity, such as justice, which is valued in all cultures and religions.
Cardinal Virtues: These are the main human virtues and serve as a linchpin: prudence, justice, fortitude, and temperance.
Prudence: The ability to think well in order to act correctly, anticipating the consequences of our actions.
Justice: Being fair implies being objective, balanced, and avoiding extremes, which generates trust in relationships.
Fortitude: The ability to endure difficulties and undertake arduous tasks, maintaining determination in adverse situations.
Temperance: Also known as self-control, it is the ability to control impulses and not be a slave to pleasures or vices.
Theological virtues: Faith, hope, and charity are gifts given by God, fundamental to the Christian life, and transcendent.
Faith: Trust in God, which has both an existential and doctrinal dimension, based on revealed truth.
Hope: Maintaining confidence that God has a plan and that, despite difficulties, there is a divine purpose.
Charity: Loving God above all things and one's neighbor as oneself, this being the greatest theological virtue.
Salvation and Faith: Faith is the path to salvation, and changing its content betrays the original message of Jesus Christ.
