🕯 In memory of Hal Galper (April 18, 1938 — July 18, 2025). Pianist
with Cannonball Adderley, Phil Woods. Faculty at the New School for
Jazz and SUNY-Purchase. He spent forty years telling the truth about
jazz education on piano. Richie Hart taught me the same thing on
guitar. This channel is where we try to keep the line going.
