Alpha Forever Modular - March '20 update
Alpha Forever Modular – polyphonic software modular synthesizer for Windows – has been updated with new new modules, features and fixes.
New features and changes:
// New presets with a total of 120 sounds and effects ranging from acoustic sounding strings and drums to classic analogue synth sounds
// Updated demo version
// .fxp import / export from the palette: you can load / save presets with all the settings even from hosts that do not support it
// Patches are interchangeable between instrument and effect versions of Alpha Forever Modular
// Text box node for comments
// Wavetable oscillator received speed improvement and reduced aliasing
// MIDI note node received a trigger output
// Enhanced Clock node
// Updated Previous node allows to create poly-portamento patches
// ZDF 2-pole and 1-pole filters
// Enhanced soft clipper node
// Anti aliased hard clipper node
// Random node: outputs a random value at a trigger event
// Delay modulated node: a comb filter with modulation inputs and UI
// More trigonometric function nodes (Tangent, ArcTangent)
// Converter nodes - converting between time domain units is now as simple as inserting the relevant node
// Graphics engine changed from Direct2D to OpenGL 3.2 (requires OpenGL compatible video card, try the demo version)

Started as a fun project by the Hungarian brothers Gábor Gyutai and Balázs Gyutai Alpha Forever is a node based modular sound design tool which allows you to create custom instruments and effects in uncompromised quality as quickly and conveniently as possible. After 3 years of development the plugin was released in October 2018 and now has an updated version.
