October 6, 2024 - Modern Worship - Calvary Bible Fellowship Church
Let’s be honest, Revelation is not usually the first book Christians turn to for inspiration and instruction. If anything, the apocalyptic contents intimidate us, the cryptic messages confuse us, and we might be prone to avoid it altogether. But did you know there are clear messages from Jesus to His church found in the early chapters of Revelation?
These messages, written to seven early churches that existed at the time, were given not only to address the needs of those churches but also to advise and strengthen every other church that would come after. In our new sermon series, Dear Church, we’ll dive into the dire warnings and loving encouragement contained in these messages, and see how Jesus' words to His churches then are words for us today.
