Reduce the RED color in skin tone using Hue/Saturation in Photoshop -
Here's a short little video on my favorite way to remove the RED colors in skin tone using the HUE/Saturation Adjustment Layer in Photoshop. Designed to be a simple to follow tutorial on using Hue/Saturation, layers, clipping masks, and layer masks to affect specific areas of a photo.
In the video, we show you how to create a new layer with just the subject, adjust the skin tone using the RED channel in the Hue/Saturation Adjustment layer, and how to use the layer mask to control where that effect goes. This isn't the only way you can do it, but it's quick and easy, and has become my favorite way to remove reds when color correcting portraits.
