Spurs v Man U atmosphere
After years on the waiting list, I finally got my Spurs season ticket in August 2017... but was living 600 miles away in Scotland. Fortunately Spurs let you sell unused seats so the cost isn't that huge for a senior.
Anyway, I used my season ticket for the first time on 31st January 2018 and helped make the biggest premiership crowd ever. Spurs were magnificent and made Manchester United look second-rate, as they also did with Berussia Dortmund and Real Madrid a few weeks ago. Spurs can be so brilliant, but also so inconsistent..
Ericksen also scored the third fastest premiership goal ever in just ten seconds.
The video has some atmosphere shots from my seat and I was in a very vocal section of the crowd. If you've ever wondered who starts the chants going, well, a guy behind me was one of the instigators so turn the volume up. Chants you might not recognise are 'Moussa Dembele' and 'We've got Alli, Dele Alli...'
This is the best Spurs team since the double-side I watched in 1961, in fact, if they would get the consistency, then I think they could be the best team in the world.
We'll see. Still losing too many silly games.
