Ang Nakatagong Paraiso ng Majayjay Laguna | Tatay Falls
Taytay Falls | Isang Matamis na Pagtakas
Ang Taytay Falls, na tinatawag ding Imelda Falls, ay isa sa mga paboritong destinasyon ng talon sa Laguna.
Ito ay may taas na 10-15 metro at naglalabas ng malinis, nagyeyelong malamig na tubig sa bukal na nagmumula sa Bundok Banahaw. Ayon sa kasaysayan, ipinangalan ito sa ex-First Lady Imelda Marcos na nagpopondo sa pagsulong ng turismo ng lugar na ito.
Ito ay isang maganda, kapansin-pansin, at tahimik na tanawin! Malinaw ang tubig sa bukal na nagmumula sa Mt.Banahaw.
Ang tubig dito ay napaka lamig at halos lahat ganun ang kanilang paglalarawan sa kanulqng karanasan. "Malamig na malamig" o "napakalamig," at pinatutunayan ko na ito talaga!
Kaya anu pa ang hinihintay ninyo mga ka Juan Biyahero, halina at ating pasyalan ang Taytay Falls dito sa Majayjay Laguna.
How to get to Taytay Falls, (VIA COMMUTE):
Ride a bus from Metro Manila to Santa Cruz, Laguna (e.g. DLTB in LRT Taft-Buendia;
Travel time is 2 – 3 hours depending on traffic condition).
Hail a tricycle to get to the terminal of jeepneys bound for the town of Majayjay.
Ride the jeepney to Majayjay (travel time from Santa Cruz is approximately 1 hour).
Upon reaching the town proper of Majayjay, transfer to the jeepney bound for Lucban, Quezon.
Tell the driver that you will be going to Taytay Falls (travel time: 20 – 30 minutes).
You will be dropped off at the barangay hall. Charter a tricycle to reach the jump-off.
Register then walk for a few minutes to get to the waterfall.

4:00 AM ETD for Santa Cruz
6:00 AM ETD for Majayjay
7:30 AM ETD for Taytay Falls
8:30 AM Commence trek
9:00 AM ETA Taytay Falls
12:00 PM Trek back to jump-off
12:30 PM Wash up
1:00 PM ETD for Majayjay
2:00 PM ETD for Santa Cruz
4:00 PM ETD for Manila
ESTIMATED BUDGET (for a solo traveler):
Php 700 – Php 1,000 ***
Expenses may vary depending on personal consumption of food and other necessities.
If traveling alone, you will solely shoulder the tricycle transfer rates.
Tips/Reminders:
This waterfall gets crowded during weekends, holidays and summer vacation.
If you are pressed for time, you may opt to hire a tricycle from the town proper of Majayjay that will take you directly to the falls but this is a more expensive option.
Also, Always practice the “Leave No Trace” principle.
