SOMEONE YOU LOVED | One Piece [AMV]
Just gonna leave this here for some late night feels....
So this is a tribute to the deaths in One Piece....super positive and happy vibes everywhere, right? In reality, I made this sort of as a tribute to one of my friends who died a few years ago...was thinking about her and this just kind of edited itself from that. I can't really explain it, I just started making it and before I knew it, it was done. This Lewis Capaldi song really has been hogging the radio slots recently, but I love the song, and figured it was the perfect thing to tug on the heartstrings a bit. And boy did it. Editing this broke me. Ace still kills me to this day, but a lot of the other scenes are brutal as well
I also tried a different type of editing this time. I do a lot of quick movements and heavy bumps, but I decided to let the video footage carry the editing rather than my moving the video, if that makes sense. This one has a lot of sharp cuts and not really as much work from me, more work from the video matching the rhythm (or at least, me attempting to do that lol). We'll see how this works! I'm also experimenting with coloring, but I didn't do anything too fancy bc my PC is a hot mess and is gonna break any day now, so I didn't want to speed up that process. (Also, thumbnail might change later. I made it in 5 minutes and I'm not really satisfied with it, but I'm also a lazy bitch, so)
I'm working on some edits while also trying to handle my job and changes in my family rn, so who knows when those will come out, but I WILL get them out!!! I promise!!
