There are many Luffy tributes out there and this one took some years off my life. It was hard because I had started this so long ago that my new editing style clashed super badly with how this originally was, explaining why some parts of this video are way different than other parts. I also had to rifle through tens of hundreds of video clips of this character being a badass, which is actually very difficult to do because of just how much footage there was to work with. Hence, why this video took 3 whole VEGAS documents to complete and many sets of renderings. I've watched this so many times now that I can't even look at it and judge its quality because I've pored over ever inch of it to death.
I don't think I need to explain what Luffy's character means to me and to everyone else. He is the reason One Piece exists and is the reason why the series is as successful as it is. He carries the series on his back and has a tenacity and a consistency that no real person has and that we can learn from. He has made me cry over and over, and no video tribute can really do him the amount of justice he deserves. This video has exhausted me on a number of levels, so I'm gonna keep the description short. I'm thinking Nami or Zoro for the next character tribute, though who knows when I will start that? Right now I feel like I need a hot bath and a cheese platter.
