The Seated Head and Arm is a great position. This gives you full upper body control while having weightless legs to pommel either leg inside their elbow for numerous of submissions. You have the front triangle, the rear triangle, mounted triangle, arm bar, or my special, Alabama Neck Tie... (not shown in the video)
Not only is Nicky Ryan one of the greatest competitors around right now, he's also just as good of a coach. I first saw the seated head and arm in Gordon Ryan's attacking from top pins - Mount instructional, and this move has given me great rewards during live training. I really encourage you to try it yourself!
