Testing the Tesla Model 3 Full Self-Driving Feature | Hands-on with Tesla Full Self-Driving
My friend's Tesla Model 3 just received a one-month trial offer for the Full Self-Driving feature. This is an advanced autonomous driving assistance system that works under certain conditions. Previously, Tesla buyers had to pay up to $15,000 for this feature. They later reduced the price to $8,000, and now it's available as a monthly subscription for $99/month.
With the Full Self-Driving package, you'll get the following upgraded features:
Navigate on Autopilot: Automatic highway navigation from entry to exit, including lane changes and overtaking.
Auto Lane Change: Automatic lane changes when needed.
Autopark: Automatic parking (parallel and perpendicular).
Summon: Automatically controls the car to move to the owner's location or a designated parking spot.
Smart Summon: Automatically navigates the car in the parking lot to your location.
Traffic Light and Stop Sign Control: Recognizes and responds to traffic lights and stop signs.
City Streets Driving (Beta): Handles driving in urban environments, including turning and navigating intersections.
In this video, I'm only demonstrating two features that impressed me the most: highway driving assistance and lane changes, and automatic parking in empty spaces. The reason is that I find these features very accurate and reliable on highways, but in complex urban environments, I find them unreliable and don't recommend using them for safety reasons.
