I'm excited to bring you this list of the Top 10 Reasons Why Living in Japan is an awesome! Now I had a list of about 50 or 60 things but I had to break this down and think to myself okay, I want to make a list right, that is not just about me but it's also about things that might appeal to other people right? Because I want to encourage you to come to Japan check it out and see why I've fallen in love with this place and I'm planning to stay forever.
1. Clean Toilets
Japanese toilets are marvels of technological innovation. They have integrated bidets, which squirt water to clean your private parts. They have dryers and heated seats. They use water efficiently, clean themselves and deodorize the air, so bathrooms actually smell good.
2. Japanese are Kind and Courteous?
Japanese people are the most polite and courteous people I know. Do I occasionally encounter kind of weird Japanese people who are not? Yes, I do but that's a very small rarity.
3. Great Food
The distinct flavors and fresh ingredients make savoring Japanese food an unforgettable experience for tourists and locals alike. The cuisine is pleasing to the eyes as much as it's pleasing to the sense of taste, which is why in Japan, photographing food is an experience in itself.
4. Low Crime
Another reason for the low crime rate in Japan is the ratio of police to criminals, which has been stacking up in the law's favor more and moreover the past decades. You'll see a koban (police box) in pretty much every area of every major city, and the presence of the law is quite apparent in most places.
5. Great Public Transportation
Japan has an efficient public transportation network, especially within metropolitan areas and between the large cities. Japanese public transportation is characterized by its punctuality, its superb service, and the large crowds of people using it.
6. Clean and Modern
This country is so clean and modern, it's great and it's one of the leading countries for technology right and the systems just worked!
7. Lots Of Nature
A surprising amount of nature and you can even ride the public transportation; the trains go all sorts of nature spots and when you get to a local station you can take a taxi, you can walk or there are buses as well. There's tons of sightseeing spots. A lot of people think of Japan as a Tokyo a city jungle but that's not true. There's a whole heap of nature, mountains and hiking things you can enjoy outside the city, it's great.
8. Old Culture is Still Preserved
Japan has made a point of getting modernizing but still preserving the past. It's awesome to be able to go visit places like this regularly.
9. Job Opportunities
Technologically most advance country – Japan, is undoubtedly the most technically advanced country. Apart from job stability, Japanese companies also offer decent employee benefits like medical care, pension, some cases travelling too. Clean and safe environment – Japan offers a clean and well-organized environment.
10. Easy to Travel to Other Countries
It's easy to travel to other Asian countries, so if you want to explore the rest of Asia this is a great place to do things from.
I live near the Kamogawa River. I love coming every day walking here, sitting down and just doing work. A funny thing that happened the other day here. I was eating a sandwich and a bird ripped out of my hands. I never had that happened before it was kind of scary but luckily it didn't hurt my hands.
