A Special Meet was held at Cooks Gardens in Whanganui, New Zealand on the 14/03/2020 with a race start time of 20:54 in the evening. This was one of the last officially timed athletics races held in New Zealand just before their official Covid19 Lockdown began. Was a great race to watch and especially auspicious given that the whole field ran under 2 minutes. The race was won by promising Manawatu athlete Benjamin Wall.
