We left the city this morning, and it was -24 degrees Celsius, but on the river it was already -34 degrees Celsius. Oh, those swings!
Vlad and I were searching along the "kopanka" (dugout) with a Drap Drift.
We made a mistake, found a good whitefish, it didn't produce many fish, just one decent one and a few pins. We had to cast it out and keep digging, but we kept hoping the zander would start to bite. We thought they'd start eating any minute now.
We had some hope because the area was untouched, and we were the first ones on that mound. But that's fishing, and zander don't owe anyone anything 🤣
After fishing, there's a feeling of dissatisfaction 😄, but that's okay, I'll work up an appetite before the next trip ✊
