Soldering wires to SMT Chip components
Soldering wires to a few surface-mount components, then placing them on a breadboard.
Materials used:
Surface mount components desoldered from old circuit boards. Shown are a 1206 resistor, a 1206 ceramic chip capacitor, a size "C" tantalum capacitor, and a SOT-89 transistor.
Pretinned Solid Bus Wire (Radio Shack cat# 278-1341)
AIM Lead Free GLOW CORE SAC305 Solder .025" (mouser.com part# 738-14076)
Soldering station:
Edsyn 951HP Temperature Controlled soldering station (discontinued model)
Temperature set to 550°F
