Created by filmmaker Annette Jacob, the music video of @sijyax track ‘52’ - from her Young Hate EP, released in December via Accidental - is akin to expanding an abstract painting into a film.
Distinct textural layers move across each other and interact with each other with only a suggestion of literal meaning to guide the viewer’s mind. Growing from the very ASMR nature of the track’s sounds, the video makes the music’s buzzing pulsating nature even more palpable.
