Following her debut single 'Have To Make My Bed' on SUCHI SELECTS compilation via boxout.fm, New Delhi's #Sijya is releasing on 2nd December her #debutEP ‘Young Hate’ on #AccidentalRecords.
Across 6 bittersweet, #downtempo tracks, 'Young Hate' naturally follows on from the promise of that early single and reveals the full picture of Sijya as an artist with a strong, self-realised creative stamp.

On ‘Stonefruit’, she works with dancer and artist Urvi Vora. Made during the early stringent lockdowns, the music video for ‘Stonefruit’ was shot with Urvi guiding Sijya over a zoom call as they assigned a movement to each sound of the textural composition. Assembling them all together in an attempt to create an orchestra of motions, the video tries to enhance each lilt, thump and sigh of the music visually to immerse the listener into its conversational mood.
