What is the significance of the kingdom for the future of mankind?
1) Mankind has a future!
2) The kingdom will bring blessing to Gentiles as well as to Jews.
3) True peace will finally come to the world through Christ’s rule.
4) While the kingdom will begin on this earth with mortal subjects, it will continue forever in the eternal state with only resurrected subjects.
5) The kingdom will prove the inherent wickedness of sinful man.
6) The kingdom explains the importance of Israel and her special role in the plan of God in the past, present, and future.
Why should we pray for the things that Christ tells us
to pray for in the Lord’s Prayer?
1) Because He has commanded us to do so.
2) Because we want God to receive what He deserves and what He desires.
3) Because our God is a good God who provides for the needs of His children.
4) Because God wants us to forgive each other and to maintain good relationships with each other.
5) Because His plan for the future kingdom will bring blessings to all of mankind.
6) Because asking God to do what He has already promised to do is the wisest way to pray.
7) Because knowing and anticipating the glorious future that God has planned for us will enable us not only to endure, but also to thrive in t
