Tonight’s Elite Dangerous session is just me, a new ship, a very angry Thargoid swarm, and way too much stubbornness.
I’m deep in AX combat, trying to dial in long-range Gauss and multicannon builds, juggling heat sinks, screaming at swarms that can hit me from 35km while I’m desperately trying to line up my own shots. There’s a lot of tinkering with settings, a lot of “why isn’t this dying,” and a lot of running the same attack pattern over and over until it finally clicks.
Somewhere between yelling at the swarm, flying through terrible formations on purpose, and nearly getting captured, the new ship starts to feel right. New ship = good serotonin. It may have cost me half a day of my life, but I was determined to be one of the first to make this run work — and we did.
If you like Elite Dangerous AX combat, unhinged persistence, and space battles powered by pure spite, you’re in the right place.
