How to win at Euchre and DevOps
We often say that DevOps is about collaboration—developers, QA, security, and operations teams working together to create better software, deploy it more quickly, and run it in production more reliably. But oftentimes, the effort to truly adopt and build a DevOps culture is stymied by misaligned priorities, miscommunication, and ultimately a lack of trust. These are the same challenges that partners face (and overcome) when playing Euchre.
There are three keys to playing Euchre well: 1. Understanding the rules of the game. 2. Establishing trust and cooperation. 3. Monitoring the state of the game. These three aspects also apply to DevOps and in this talk, I’ll share how attendees can apply them to improve DevOps in their own organizations.
