If you’re in the dark about GDPR, here’s the legislation in a nutshell.

• Regulates what can done with personal data
• Answers the questions of what is considered “consent”
• A cookie should be treated as personal data
Why? Any cookie that is capable of identifying an individual, or treating them as unique without explicitly identifying them means your business is processing personal data.
The golden rule when it comes to your website is to think:
Get people to OPT-IN and not OPT-OUT.
