This is the fourth episode of the saga on the legendary ICE Supertester 680R instrument and shows the analysis of measurements on the decibel scale. This type of measurement is very specific and little-known, so we'll see how it's performed. We'll first give a quick description of the decibel unit of measurement, along with a few tricks to remember the conversions to linear units. Then, we'll use benchtop measurements performed by a supporter on my Patreon to see how the instrument actually performs measurements and under what conditions it proves reliable.
