Easy Pan-Fried Mackeral
Ingredients:
2 Mackerel fish - filleted (4 pieces)
For the marinade:
1 tsp black pepper + 1 tsp red chilli powder (optional)
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp mustard powder
salt to taste
juice of half a lemon or more per your preference (more lemony = more juice)
a bit of water or coconut oil to make a paste
Rub marinade on the fish and let it marinate for 30 minutes.
Add a 1-2 tbsp of coconut oil to a heated pan, fry the fish on both sides until done.
