Easy Construction Program - Episode 17 - Xeriscape
Xeriscaping is the gardening that reduces or eliminates the need for supplemental water from irrigation, it is promoted in regions that do not have easily accessible, or reliable supplies of fresh water, and gaining acceptance in other areas as access to water becomes more limited, as an alternative to various types of smart gardening.
Xeriscaping is differ from natural landscaping such as Xeroscaping or Desertscape, because the emphasis in xeriscaping is on selection of plants for water conservation, recycling and reusing, not necessarily selecting native plants with zero – water need like cactus so that, Xeriscaping provide us with a wide variety of plants with rich visually characteristics and functions.
هو أسلوب لزراعة الحدائق بتقليل المياه اللازمة للري Xeriscape
وهو أسلوب يطبق في المناطق التي لا تمتلك مصدراً مستمراً أو مخزوناً كافياً من المياه العذبة
يختلف عن اللاند سكيب التقليدي في أنه يعتني
بإختيار النباتات قليلة الإستهلاك للمياه, وإستخدام أعادة التدوير والإستخدام لا يقتصر فقط على الصبارات والعصاريات
وبالتالي فهو يمنح ميزة التنوع في الأشكال والألوان والوظائف
