In this video I demonstrate the concepts taught in lesson 8 of my improvisation course "SFS Modes - Modes Everywhere!".
In this course we learn how to map-out all modal fingerings on the guitar fretboard, on the fly, using a system called SFS (String Fragment System™), instead of using traditional shape memorization.
We cover Ionian, Dorian, Phrygian, Lydian, Mixolydian, Aeolian, and Locrian, using both HYBRID and 3NPS fingerings. In addition, in every lesson we practice in a different key, and implement a growing list of improvisation tips.
