This video shows you the step by step process on how to replace your front wheel sensor on a Jeep Wrangler JK 3.6L. The Jeep we used in this video is a 2016 Jeep Wrangler JKU Sahara. There is another video on our channel showing how to replace the rear abs sensor. This project was done in a garage with a jack, jack stands and wheel chocks to focus on safety.
Tools suggested: 13mm socket & ratchet, 21mm socket, breaker bar, 15mm open wrench (optional for inside caliper nut), 5mm Allen wrench, dielectric grease.
The Speed Sensor purchased for this project was a "Standard Brand" ALS1918. There are many other brands available.
This project also requires you to remove your brake caliper, caliper frame and rotor. If your front brakes and rotor need replacing, this is a great opportunity to do your brakes on both the front left and right side.
Please use caution and understand the risks when off-roading and working on your vehicle. Use a professional service technician when necessary. Subscribe to our Channel for more Jeep modifications and maintenance tips. #jeepwrangler #jeeplife #jeep
