Imagine waking up in a dark lift remembering absolutely nothing but your own name.
That’s exactly the situation a young man named Thomas (Dylan O'Brien) finds himself in. When the lift eventually comes to a stop and the doors open he discovers that he is amongst other teenagers in a large expanse they call "The Glade."
