Old abandoned Barreiro Mar Station - 4K UHD
Designed by the engineer Miguel Pais, the second station (1884-2008) combines Romantic aesthetics, evident in the maritime and vegetal decoration of the closed west, in neo-Manueline and industrial style, apparent in the materials and in the functional way in which the south facade is structured.
It was taken down in service, with the construction of the new Barreiro station, in 2008, leaving the building abandoned and in increasing degradation.
