Duck Hunting Mixed Bag During Early Season | Nova Scotia 2024
Duck hunting over tidal waters on opening day in Zone 2! On this adventure, we travelled to a tidal marsh located on public land in Nova Scotia, Canada to kick off the 2024 waterfowl season. I woke up extra early to claim our spot, which included adding new brush to the blind and setting the decoys. We seen dozens of birds during this hunt and ended the day with a nice variety of black ducks, mallards, teal, and mergansers.
Guns used: Beretta 687 Silver Pigeon 3 (Improved Cylinder/Modified), Winchester SXP (Carlson's Mid Range) and Browning A5 (Extended Modified).
Ammunition Used: Kent Fasteel 2.0 (3in #3 Steel Shot).
