Spa 25 Hours VW Fun Cup 2022
The journey of the #485 Why Not? Racing Team during the 2022 Spa 25 Hours VW Fun Cup.
Nicolas Delencre, Bjorn Marit and myself, Steve Claeys started on P40 in a field of 120 race cars. After 30 minutes, another competitors rear windshield hit our car and ripped off the fueling cap which meant an unplanned pitstop and huge loss of time. We got set back to the 112th position but with determination, we fought back.
Constant laptimes, swift pitstops and not a single technical hickup did the job, a magnificent job I must say as we finished P21.
