How To Setup Extensions for Live Broadcasts
After watching this video, you will be able to set up an extension to initiate a live broadcast / announcement from your cloud phone. In this example, dial 103 from your cloud phone to start your live announcement.
How to create extensions for live broadcasts:
1. Under ‘Event Triggers’ select ‘Live Broadcasts’
2. Select ‘Create New’
3. Select a zone
4. Choose Pre-Tone Duration (0 - 10 seconds)
Note: a “Pre-Tone” is a tone that plays before the live announcement. Set to 0 seconds for no pre-tone.
5. Toggle ‘Register with SIP Server’
6. Name your Live Broadcast
7. Enter your extension number from PBX
8. Connect your domain
9. Enter password from PBX set for your extension
10. Save Changes and Restart Accounts
