Some of these products are quite EXPENSIVE, yet hardly a cheek remains unrolled on Instagram! We checked out the beauty hype. What's the point of these rollers? Is it just a CHEAP product from CHINA?

According to influencers like Mrs. Bella, Pativalpati, or Carodaur, jade rollers are the solution to almost every beauty problem. But even on TikTok, people like Celine Bethmann, Lara Schmidt, and Rosekanal are happily rolling the cool gemstone across their faces and promising us only the best. Whether it's reducing wrinkles, anti-aging, stimulating blood circulation, lymphatic drainage, dark circles under the eyes, or world peace; a jade roller is apparently good for everything.
It ultimately doesn't matter whether you use a jade roller, amethyst roller, or rose quartz roller, because there are no studies on the different healing stone effects. And the long-term effects of such gemstone facial rollers are rather controversial. So, is this gadget (almost) superfluous? We spoke with El from the funk show Glanz&Natur about this.
Plus, some of these beauty tools cost almost €45. Strange, considering we were able to order an extremely similar roller from Alibaba from China – and it was significantly cheaper. How we discovered this roller, how many jade rollers we now have in the editorial office, and whether we'll be busy rolling our own cheeks in the future – all this in this video.
