How to disconnect Microsoft Azure AD Connect. When the On-Prem AD server is migrated to Office 365 and Azure AD (Entra). You can detach the Azure AD Connect so you will be able to manage users, passwords, and groups in O365.
Here are the Powershell commands I use:
Install-Module AzureAD
Install-Module MSOnline
Connect-MsolService
(Get-MsolCompanyInformation).Directorysynchronizationenabled
Set-MsolDirSyncEnabled -EnableDirSync $false
