Tuning Your Samples in Ableton Live
In this quick tutorial I'll show you how to tune the sounds in your songs, even if they're being stubborn. Often times synths won't stay in pitch, or perhaps you're trying to tune a tricky kick drum. This is an easy method using NCH Tone Generator, a free standalone program, in Ableton Live.
There's more than a few ways of doing this, but using NCH is a great option that I don't have to think about setting up. Just pin it to your taskbar in Windows and you can click it anytime you need pitch reference.
