aksdf.sys
and you get to keep your current files and settings.
What is this aksdf.sys file?
This file is in your computer if you have in the past or currently using any software with a dongle.
Why is it causing problems during the upgrade?
I honestly do not know.
The haspdinst.exe program will search and purge any aksdf.sys files.
If you are currently using a software that uses a dongle, best to just reinstall it after win10 is up and running.
Copy the link below and paste it in your search engine's url box.

Download the .zip file. Extract and copy paste the haspdinst.exe file to your C: Windows file.
Open cmd prompt and run it as administrator. Copy this:
haspdinst.exe -kp -r -fr -v -purge
into cmd prompt and run it. This will activate the sentinal run-time environment installer which will search and purge any aksdf.sys files. Once its finished, a pop-up will ensue indicating its operation was successful.
