1. Preconception Care:
Thyroid Function Testing: Ensure that thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) levels are within the optimal range (typically between 0.1 and 2.5 mIU/L) before conception.
Medication Adjustment: If you are on thyroid hormone replacement therapy, your dose might need adjustment before pregnancy.
Thyroid Monitoring During Pregnancy:
Frequent Monitoring: TSH levels should be monitored every 4-6 weeks during the first half of pregnancy and at least once during the second half.
