MH-53E conducts multinational pouncer ops with EOD units in Japan | B Roll
An MH-53E heavy lift helicopter assigned to the HM-15 Blackhawks conducts a cast mission in Japan. The helicopter picked up EOD personnel belonging to US, Italian, and Japanese EOD units from a Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force ship. The helicopter is then brought down, near the surface of the water, and the EOD personnel, or "pouncers", jump off the ramp and into the water. They are then recovered my a small boat and returned to the ship.
