"Let's Go Costa Mesa!" Free On-Demand Rideshare Press Conference
On Friday, Nov. 1 Costa Mesa Mayor John Stephens along with Council Member Arlis Reynolds and city leaders held a press conference to unveil a new FREE on-demand rideshare service that will transport underserved seniors and residents with little to no access to a personal vehicle to a transit-rich area in town where they can shop, run errands or travel.
"Let’s Go Costa Mesa" provides point-to-point trips within a travel area of Westside Costa Mesa and College Park south of Joann Street, and the area surrounding the East 17th Street shopping district bounded by East 18th Street on the north and East 16th Street on the south.
Residents and visitors wanting a ride within this area are encouraged to download the "Ride Circuit" App, or call the hotline at (949) 828-2065 and follow the prompts. Trips on the circuit are free of charge and rides are available between origin and destination points anywhere within the service area Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
