Live Music and more at the weekly MadCap Charity Event. Every Monday is a FREE open mic and art night with a different featured performer weekly! MadCap Monday is held at Dusk, 301 Harris Ave, Providence, RI. Dusk hosts this event and is open to the public. If you wish to perform, please contact Bristol Aerial Productions and we will forward your request or contact & Sign up by contacting Nate Cozzolino directly through Facebook messenger or by email.
MadCap begins accepting requests for slots on Sunday, the day before MadCap. The list often fills up quickly, so message Nate early and include a general time you’d like to perform! We do our very best to accommodate everyone, so if the list becomes full, keep in mind that you will be on “stand by” for an available spot. MadCap asks that you show up at least 30 minutes before your scheduled slot in order to accommodate for any unexpected changes to the schedule and to give you time to tune your instrument and prepare for your performance.
In general, musicians may play up to three songs each. It’s OK if you only want to play one or two songs, just let Nate Cozzolino know when you request a slot so that MadCap can best schedule your performance.
Please be mindful of all the artists waiting their turn and avoid excessively long songs. Those performing spoken word/poetry/comedy are typically scheduled for 15 minutes, though keep in mind that includes setup/breakdown, so your actual performance time will vary.
