Step Input is a CHEAT CODE for Music Producers
Step Input is a staple music production technique. It enables you to play the midi keyboards at your own pace, and easily create amazing sequences of notes that are fun to experiment with.
Step input is not a stock capability as of Ableton Live 11, however, so if you want to use this technique, I'll show you how you can customize your Ableton to use it and what keyboard techniques you can take advantage of to create amazing synth sequences that sound awesome, especially for genres like hip hop, pop and RnB.
