Things Even I Can Do: Episode 93 Fire Alarm / CO Detector Replacement
My father-in-law's battery powered Kidde Fire Alarm / Carbon Monoxide started beeping in the middle of the night. It has no accessible battery. We found that if you push the big button it will stop the beeping temporarily, but after 3 days it will start to beep again.
The alarm was 10 years old and therefore at the end of it's life. It must be replaced. This video will show you how to silence the alarm permanently without using a sledge hammer.
