Waking up on a desolate beach after a shipwreck is never easy, especially when you are a Watcher seeing the ghosts of your fallen crew. Join us as we explore the jagged coastline, rescue survivors, and uncover the secrets hidden within the sea caves of this mysterious island. It is time to gather our strength and find a way off this sandbar!
In this episode, we dive deep into the immediate aftermath of the crash of the Defiant. We start by checking in on our loyal companion Eder and assessing our current skills before scavenging the beach for essential supplies like grappling hooks and lockpicks. The wreckage is dangerous, but there are survivors counting on us to lead them to safety.
We navigate the treacherous cliffs to reach the deck of our broken ship, where we encounter Irrena and use our survival skills to tend to her wounds. Being a Watcher comes with unique responsibilities, and we soon find ourselves communicating with the spirits of those who did not survive the wreck, even bringing one along for the journey.
The exploration continues into a nearby cave system where we face off against wild boars and aggressive beetles. We also track down our missing bosun, Beauron, who has managed to get himself stuck in a field of deadly traps. By using our perception and mechanical skills, we clear the path and recover some valuable loot, including new armor and a powerful ring of minor protection. Finally, we tackle a rogue copper construct guarding a hidden hoard before discovering a secret underwater passage that leads to even more discoveries.
