Matillion Setup - Part 4 - Snowflake Resources
In this video, @cloudvedaacademy will explain the steps to setup Snowflake resources/objects to get started with Matillion ETL application for Snowflake . Matillion usages Snowflake compute and storage (stage) for all ETL workloads (except a very few). Hence, Snowflake connection details is mandatory for getting the Matillion ETL operational. As a part of this effort, we are explaining step wise setup of all required resources need to get Matillion accessing Snowflake. These includes:
1- Database (
2- Warehouse
3- Schema
4- Roles
5- User
6- Stage
7- File Format
For any Matillion project, you would need these objects. Here we are going with a very simple use case to start using Matillion for ETL development. In real project scenario, it may be different. Here we have consider multi environment setup (DEV, TST & PRD).
